Wayne Schultz, 67, of Monticello, died Sunday, July 29, 2001, at his residence.

He was born in Jasper County on February 8, 1934, to Floyd and Alma Criswell Schultz.

He lived in Jasper County most of his life and in Monticello for about 15 years.

He attended Fair Oaks High School in Jasper County.

He was a retired farmer.

A sister, Mrs. Donna (Joseph) Venturella of Portage; three nieces and two nephews survive him.

Two sisters, Adalyn Florence and Evelyn K. Putts, are deceased.

The funeral was today at Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, with Rev. Chris Dodson officiatng.

Burial was at Bedford Cemetery, Monon.
