Arnold C. Scholz, 88, R.1, Monon, died Tuesday, June 15, in Monticello Healthcare Center. He had been ill for the last two months.

He was born Oct. 15, 1904, to Charles F. and Anna Jacobsen Schulz, in Lake Forest, Ill. He was married Dec. 1, 1935, to Thelma Parr, in Hammond, and she lived at R.1, Monon.

He graduated from Lake Forest High School, Illinois.

He was an employee of the city of Lake Forest and retired after 22 years. He moved from Lake Forest to Monon, in 1960.

He was affiliated with the Lake Forest Presbyterian Church.

Surviving with his wife is a stepson, Wilford J. Rieger, Battle Ground and a brother, Albert J., Orlando, Florida. Two brothers and two sisters are deceased.

Graveside rites will be conducted today at 2 p.m. in Bedford Cemetery, Monon.

Kellogg Funeral Home, Monon, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Salvation Army.
