Dorothy Dell Schnarr, 95, Oxford, Indiana died Sunday, November 1 at Edgewood Manor in Oxford.

She was born November 18, 1902 in Templeton, IN the daughter of Edward and Nannie Newby Lank. Her marriage was to Rev. Ralph Schnarr on November 5, 1938 in Evansville, IN. He died June 9, 1973.

She attended Benton and White County Schools and had worked as a Cook at Purdue University and a Dietitian at the hospital.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Monon, White Shrine in Evansville, Eastern Star in Otterbein, VFW Auxiliary in Oxford and was President of the Business and Professional Club in Bedford, IN. She was also Past President of Hoosier Hills Grandmothers Club in Bedford, IN.

She is survived by two daughters; Helen Bruner of Oxford and June Haste of Lafayette.; seven grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.

One son, one daughter, 4 brothers and 1 sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services were Tuesday at the Hahn Funeral Home in Oxford with Rev Joe Galimi officiating. Burial was in Oxford West Cemetery.
