Carol J. Dykhuizen Schilling

Carol J. Dykhuizen Schilling, 60, Frankfort, died in her borne on Thursday, Oct. 13 following a brief illness.

She was born June 6, 1934 to Edward C. "Dyke" Dykhuizen and Mary A. McDowell Dykhuizen in Lafayette. She married Robert G. Schilling, June 17, 1955, and he survives.

She graduated from Brookston High School and the Indiana University School of Nursing. She
was a nurse at the Clinton County Hospital, retiring in September.

She was member of the First Christian Church and sang in the choir for a number of years. She also was a member of the R.N. Club and served on the Frankfort Public Library board.

Surviving with her husband are three sons, Michael R. Schilling of Fairfax, VA, David B. Schilling of Bloomington, and Mark D. Schilling of Frankfort; a daughter, Mrs. Clay (Lynn) Harmon of King- wood, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Rex (Margene) Lewis of Lafayette; and 7 grandchildren.

Her mother, Mary A. Dykhuizen preceded her in death on Oct. 7.

A graveside service was held Monday, Oct. 17, at Spring Vale Cemetery, Lafayette, the Rev. Dr.
Hugh Reynolds and Rev. Michael Druley officiated.
