John C. Sanbloom

John C. Sanbloom, 92, West Lafayette, formerly of R.2, Brookston, had lived at the manor since May 1996. He died Tuesday, March 11, at 3:25 p.m. in George Davis Manor, West Lafayette..

He was born August 24, 1904, to Gus and Mable Colson Sanbloom, in Tippecanoe County. He was married February 21, 1932, to Francis Revis at the Badger Grove Church

He was a farmer, retiring in 1969. He also was a Pioneer Seed salesman, retiring in June 1981, after 35 years.

He was a member of the Badger Grove Community Baptist Church and a member of the Octogan Masonic Lodge No. 511 and High 12. He received his 50-year pin in 1976.

Survivors include an adopted daughter, Mrs George (Helen) Allyn, Lafayette; a sister, Hulda Nelson, Brookston; several nieces and nephews; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A brother and two sisters are deceased.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Badger Grove Community Baptist Church with the Rev. Ralph
McVay and the Rev. Eugene Parker officiating.

Burial was in the Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette.

Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, was in charge of the services.
