Waneta I. Russow, 79, Monticello, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, at White County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born Dec. 3, 1918, to Arthur and Ethel Wilson Connell in Buffalo. She was married Dec. 14, 1938, to Kenneth L. Russow in White County, He died May 3, 1974.

She graduated in 1937, from Buffalo High School.

She was a homemaker and had lived in White County all her life.

Survivors are a son, Jeff of Lafayette; three daughters, Marilyn L. Phelps, Monticello; Mrs Phil (Karen S.) Starkey, Logansport and Anne Martin, Francesville; three sisters, Ruth Thompson, Chalmers; Grace Doremire, Lafayette and Isabelle Lemaich, of Knox; two brothers, Orville Connell, Logansport and Harold Connell of Carrollton, Ohio; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A son and.two sisters are deceased.

Funeral services were Saturday in the Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home with the Rev. Jan McFall-Brown officiating.

Burial was in Bedford Cemetery, Monon.

Memorial donations may be given to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
