Ila L. Quasenbarth Runk

Ila L. Quasenbarth Runk, 72. Parkview Haven Retirement Home, Francesville, died at Winamac Nursing Home at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.

She was the former owner of Monon Lunch Restaurant on Highway 16 in Monon and had worked as a cook at Medaryville High School prior to that.

A lifetime resident of Monon and Medaryville, she was born March 8, 1921 in Francesville, the daughter of Howard and Marie Waymire Page.

She married Jack W. Runk in 1942 and he died in 1960. In 1970 she married Don Quasebarth and
he died in 1971.

A member of the Medaryville United Methodist Church she is survived by two sons; John W. Runk, Lafayette and Jim Runk, Brookston. One daughter, Jackie Knight, Waldron, Indiana and two step daughters, Barbara McCormick, Monon and Donna Sargent, Boise; Idaho. She had 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Other survivors include four brothers; Eugene Page, Francesville, Raymond Page, Monon; Ralph Cain, Rolling Prairie and Morris Cain, LaPorte and one sister, Virginia Stepp, Wheatfield.

She wass preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister.

The funeral was at the Medaryville United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. today with Rev. Joseph Newton officiating. Burial will be in the Whitepost Cemetery at Medaryville.
