Robert Carl Ruemler

Robert Carl Ruernler, 63, R.1, Reynolds, died Thursday, Jan. 20, at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, Lafayette.  He had been seriously ill for one month.

He was born March 10, 1930, to Fred H. and Lottie Hayes Ruemler, in Reynolds. His mother lives in Monticello. He was married July 22, 1950, to Ruth A. Minnicus, in Reynolds, and she survives.

He lived his entire life in Reynolds and had managed the White Co. Farm Bureau Co-op Reynolds Elevator for 42 years.  He was a former member of the North White School Corp. Board of  Trustees for 15 years.

He graduated from Reynolds High School in 1949, and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church, Reynolds.

Surviving with his wife and mother are three daughters; Mrs Richard (Connie) Stimmel, Monon; Mrs Greg (Debbie) Anderson, Peoria, Ill.; Mrs Harry (Kathy) Jones, Shelby, Ohio; eight sons, Chris, John, Todd and Greg, all of Reynolds; Jeff of Monon, Joe of Wolcott; Phil of Brookston and Don of Chalmers; three brothers; Glenn and Arnold, both of Reynolds and Art of Otterbein; a sister, Virginia Weston of Whiteland; and 28 grandchildren. Two brothers and a grandchild are deceased.

The funeral was Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Richard E. Miller and Rev Robert Fosselman officiating. Voorhis Draper Funeral Home was in charge of the services.

Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Reynolds.
