Mary Ruemler
Mary Ruemler, 85, of Reynolds, died Saturday, December 12, 2004 at White County Memorial Hospital.
She was born at Reynolds on August 10, 1919 to Rufus and Oacle Burris James.
She married Alfred "Budd" Ruemler on December 7, 1941 in Reynolds. He survives.
She had lived in the Reynolds community all her life and was a graduate of Reynolds High School. She and her husband owned the Ruemler Hardware Store in Reynolds for over 45 years. They retired in 1995.
She was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church in Reynolds.
She had been a resident of Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare Center for the past 2 1/2 years.
Other survivors include sisters Dorothea Zarse of Chalmers, Charlotte (Everett) Swartz of Indianapolis, Betty Criswell of Monon, Rosa (Charles) Young of Indianapolis, Marilyn Montgomery of Louisville, Ky., Ann Clark of Las Vegas, Nev., and a brother John (Dora Sue) James of Battle Ground.
Brothers Willie Frank and Harold James and sisters Effie Wiese and Evelyn James are deceased.
Services were this morning (Wednesday) at St. James Lutheran Church in Reynolds with Rev. Charles Blakey officiating.
