Cathryn M. Rosenbaum

Cathryn M. Rosenbaum, 84, of Cape Coral, Florida and formerly of Monon, Indiana, died Sunday, January 20, 2002 in Cape Coral Hospital from injuries received in an auto accident on Friday, January 18th.

She was born July 13, 1917 in Chicago, the daughter of Peter and Julia Lanham Wabol.

She was a self-employed accountant for more than 40 years in Indiana. She had been bookkeeper for The Monon News for over 26 years, retiring in 2001.

She had been a case manager for Wabash Valley Mental Health, retiring in 1999 after 15 years.

She also played violin with the Country Termites Band in Monticello.

She was a member of the Caloosahatchee Moose Lodge, Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, Lee County Fiddlers Support Group, Heart of Cape Coral and St. Andrews Catholic Church.

Surviving are two daughters. Roberta (Ralph) Memergert of Portage, Indiana and Margo Gladney of Cape Coral, three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and one sister, Julia Boldt of Wanatah. Also surviving are two dear friends Linda Hancock and Wilson Pollard, both of Cape Coral.

There was a private cremation.

A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, January 26 at the Caloosahatchee Moose Lodge in Cape Coral.

Friends may call at the Mohler Funeral Home in Wanatah on Friday, February 1 from 5 - 8 p.m.

There will be a memorial service at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wanatah at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday and a graveside service at approximately 1:30 p.m. at Bedford Cemetery at Monon.
