Ziza Maude Rogers, 83, R.5, Monticello, died unexpectedly .Wednesday. April 29, in the emergency room at Clinton Co. Hospital.

She was born May 9, 1908, to Jess and Armilda Ann James Randels, in Colfax. She was married in 1922, to Walter Rogers, who died Aug. 19, 1982.

She lived most of her life in Frankfort and Monticello. Sbe was a homemaker and craft designer.

Survivors include a daughter Dorothy L. Duncan, Brookston, three sisters, Martha Higinbotham, Frankfort, Esther Gibbs, California and Nina Southwick, Florida; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  Two brothers and  a sister are deceased.

The funeral was Sunday, Frye Funeral Home, Frankford with the Rev. Earl Roustio officiating.

Burial was in Bunnell Cemetery, Frankfort.
