Robert J. "Bob" Robinson, 70, 202 W. Main St., Delphi, was found dead of natural causes Thursday, Jan. 17, in his home.
He was born Aug. 9, 1920, to Claude and Irene Nelson Robinson, in Brookston. He was a bachelor.
He moved
from Chicago to Delphi, over 25 years ago. He was a graduate of Battle
Ground High
School
and Butler University and was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
He was employed at Metzger Lumber Co. until he retired. He previously was manager of the former Bowman Fish House in West Delphi, and an office manager in the automotive division of Kemper Insurance Co. in Chicago and New Jersey. He was a member of Delphi American Legion Post No. 75.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs Laura McDaniel, Noblesville and a brother, Richard W., Beech Grove.
The funeral was Monday in the Horn Funeral Home, Delphi, the Rev. Richard L. Pettys officiating.
