Art Richardson, 58, owner of The Corner Bait Shop in Battle Ground, died at 2:38 a.m. Friday - Sept. 23, in St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, where he was admitted Thursday.

He was born Feb. 15, 1930 in Battle Ground.

He married E. Sue Wall, Aug. 3, 1950 in Lafayette. She died June. 28, 1986.

Mr Richardson lived at 1604 E. County Road 725 N., West Lafayette, and was a member of Eagles Lodge 374, VFW of Monticello and Indiana Outboard Association.

Surviving are a son, Ralph Steven Richardson, Flora; three daughters, Linda Marie Ruhlander, R.1, Battle Ground; Beverly Ann Rush, R.5, Monticello and Lisa May Richardson, Lafayette; and his mother, Mrs Velora Marie Bell, Lafayette.

Also surviving are five grand children.

Service was at Hartzler Funeral Home in Brookston, at 2 p.m. Saturday, with Gordon Benton officiating. Interment was in Battle Ground Cemetery.
