Donna Jean Rice, 59, Monticello died Wednesday, June 7, 2000, at Monticello Assisted Living and Health Care. She had been ill for one year.

She was born in Francesville on November 26, 1940 to Alfred Earl and Elvina Ethel Miller Byroad.

She had lived in the White County area most of her life and was a homemaker

She was a member of the former Calvary Baptist Church of Monticello. She was a member of AMVETS of Monticello.

She is survived by her mother of Monon, a daughter Carolyne Blanche Stotler of Monticello, son Ernest Harold Robinson Jr. of Idaville; companion Martin Willoughby of Monticello; brother Aifred Byroad Jr., of Bumpis Mills, Tenn.; sisters Mary Bretzinger of Valparaiso and Darlene Tolbert of Cheyenne, Wyo; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were Saturday, June 9 at Kellogg Funeral Home in Monon with Pastor Olin Strader officiating. Burial was in Bedford Cemetery
