Marie Reitz, 92, of Buffalo, died December 27, 2002, at White County Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Russia on April 24, 1910, to Andrew and Anna Webber Kindsvather. She moved to Chicago when she was 3 years old. She married Peter J. Reitz on May 23, 1928, in Chicago, and the couple was married for 65 years before he died on March 9, 1993.

Surviving are sons, Peter A. (Joyce) Reitz of Buffalo and James P. (Patricia) Reitz of Wabasha, Minn.; 10 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.

A sister, Molly Miller, a brother, George Kindsvather; two step-sons; and two grandchildren are deceased.

Funeral services were at Cedar Park Funeral Home, Calumet Park, Ill., with Pastor Michael D. Udoekona officiating.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
