Lee Wayne Reinholt

Lee Wayne Reinbolt, 58, R.1, Monon, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 5:40 p.m. in St. Elizabeth Hospital, following an extended illness. He had been hospitalized two weeks.

He was born July 22,1936, to Carl Henry and Mildred Maddock Reinholt Welch, in Monterey, Ind. He was married Feb. 22, 1957, to Dorothy Porteau, in Oakdale, Louisiana. She survives along with his step-father, Corly Welch of Ashville, Ohio.

Other survivors include a son, and his wife Susan Reinholt, Reynolds; two daughters, Mrs Charles (Sharon) Hartwell, Monon and Lee Ann Reinholt, Lafayette.

Also surviving are five sisters; Joan Daughtery, Lowell; Janet Fouet and Glenda Roberts, both of Ashville, Ohio; Peg Hagnie, Rigby, Idaho and Charlotte Salyer, South Bend; one brother, Jim Reinholt, Syracuse, Ind. He had four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

A graduate of Monterey High School, he served in the U.S. Army and was retired from the Operating Engineers Local 103. He also was a retired farmer.

He had lived in the community most of his life.

Funeral services will be at the Kellogg Funeral Home, Monon, Friday, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Roy Lee and Rev. Don Newman officiating.

Burial will be in Bedford Cemetery.
