Joseph O. Rayman

Joseph O. Rayman, 62, 5745 W. 1100N, West Lafayette, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. He had been a patient there since Feb. 19th.

He was born Aug. 7, 1927, to Phillip Oscar and LoDema Harris Rayman, in Lafayette. He was married Feb. 23, 1952, to Joann M. Bucholtz, in Lafayette. She survives.

He was a farmer in Round Grove Township, White County and work ed 15 years for Ross Gear in Lafayette. He was a member of St. Bridget's Catholic Church, Barrydale and a member of the parrish council. Also, he was a member of Country Promenaders and an avid euchre player.

Other survivors are four daughters, Mrs Ronald (Rebecca) Swygman, Augsburg, West Germany, Mrs Mark (Mary) Sypnieski and Mrs Michael (Barbara) Hoover, both of Nashville, Tenn. and Jennifer Rayman, Lafayette; two sons, Kenneth J. and Daniel E., both of West Lafayette; two brothers, Paul L, Montrose, Colo. and Cornelius J., Lafayette; a sister, Marilyn Johnston, West Lafayette; and 13 grandchildren.

The funeral will be tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. in St. Bridget's Catholic Church Berrydale with the Rev Ambrose Ziegler officiating. Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today at Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston. A wake service will be at 7:30 p.m.

Entombment will be in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum, West Lafayette.
