Willie Roy Raines, 91, 323 E. Madison St., Delphi, died Friday, June 16, in Home Hospital. Lafayette. He had been hospitalized since Wednesday.

Born May 4, 1896, in Celina, Tenn., he lived in Chalmers and Buck Creek before moving to Delphi.

He was married to Della Spear, in 1925, who died March 15,1958.

Mr Raines was a retired farmer, an Army veteran of World War I, and a member of Elmwood Church of Christ in Lafayette.

Surviving are two sons, Max and Wilford Raines; and a daughter, Miss Alma Raines, all of Delphi; and two sisters, Mrs Vera Brown, Indianapolis and Mrs Anna Long, Greenwood. A daughter, Miss Zelma Raines died May 2nd.

Service was Monday at 2 p.m. in Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston.

Interment was in Chalmers Community Cemetery.
