Marie "Granny" Quasebarth, 87, of Monon, died Sunday, March 12,  at Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare Center.  She had resided there since September 1998.

She was born August 4, 1912, to William and Mary Emmaline Rodruck Walls, in Jasper County.  She was married February 24, 1930, to Howard Ernest Quasebarth, in Kokomo.  He died October 14, 1958.

She retired from Per-Pak Corp in Brook in 1985.

She was a member of Monon Community Church, and of the Mizpah Chapter in Monon.  She was a 50-year member of the Rebecca Lodge.

She is survived by daughters, Beverly J. Ferrell, Monticello and Linda L. Fletcher, Monon; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.

Two daughters, five brothers and a great granddaughter are deceased.

Funeral service was at 11 a.m. today, at Kellogg Funeral Home,  Monon, with the Rev. Don Newman officiating.

Burial was in Bedford Cemetery, Monon.
