Lucille M. Quade, 83, of Monon. died Friday, April 16, 2004 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Lafayette.

She had been ill for six weeks.

She was born in West Point Township on October 15, 1920 to Arthur and Vesta Martin Seymour.

She married Harry G. Quade on June 14, 1940 in LaPorte. He survives.

She was a 1938 graduate of Reynolds High School.

She was a homemaker and worked part-time at the North White High School Cafeteria and for several years at the Rensselaer Republican newspaper in Rensselaer.

She lived in the community most of her life and was affiliated with the United Methodist Church.

She was a 40-year member of the Town and Country Home Ec Club in Monon, a 10-year member of the White County Home Ec Club and was Past President from 1979-80.

Other survivors include a son Gary (Fay) Quade of Brookston and four grandchildren.

Two sons, one grandchild and two brothers are deceased.

Funeral services were Tuesday at Kellogg Funeral Home in Monon with Pastor Matthew Pickut, officiating.

Burial was in Bedford Cemetery.
