Jeffrey L. Quade, 36, formerly of Monon, died Saturday, July 9, at his residence in Houston, TX. He had been in failing health for three months.

He was born March 3. 1958 in Monticello to Harry 0. and Lucille M. Seymour Quade, who reside in Monon.

He was a 1976 graduate of North White High School and a 1980 graduate of Ball State University where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in accounting.

He had lived in New Orleans, LA, for 10 years. In 1990, he moved to Houston where he was emplayed as a corporate accountant with Shell Oil Co. He recently was recognized by the company with the Champion of Quality and Excellence Award.

Surviving with his parents is one brother, Gary Quade of Brookston.  Another brother is deceased.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 15, in Kellogg Funeral Home, Monon, the Rev. Roy Lee officiated.

Burial was in Bedford Cemetery, Monon.
