<James D. Price
 

James D. Price, 46, formerly of Brookston and Lafayette, died Thursday, Jan. 31, at Cocks Medical Center North, Springfield, Mo., following a heart attack at work.

He was born Dec. 9, 1945, to Marvin E. and Juanita F. Gano Price Sr., in Lafayette.

He attended elementary schools in Brookston and attended Pine Village High School. He received a high school GED diploma in the military service. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. Be moved to Springfield, Mo., from Lafayette, in 1989. He was emplayed for a truckliig firm there, as a dispatcher.

He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars at Boonville.

Survivors include two daughters, Rachel Lynn Price and Julie Ann Price, Boonville; and a stepson, Troy Wayne Osha, Boonville; five brothers, Marvin E. Jr., Rossville; Jerry L.; Attica; Max J., Lafayette; Charles R., Monticello and Jack E., Sikeston, Mo.; and two sisters, Mrs Connie Miller, Lafayette and Mrs Carol Martin, Rossville. A brother is deceased.

The funeral was Monday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, the Rev. Duncan MacNab officiating.

Burial was in IOOF Cemetery at Brookston.
