Lawrence E. Pluimer
Lawrence E. Pluimer, 81, Monon, died Saturday, Jan. 9, in Twin Lakes Village. Monticello.
He was born Nov. 13, 1917, to John Peter and Velma Loretta Nolan Pluimer, in White County. He was married Sept. 11, 1938, to Juanita Beaver, in Wingate. She died Nov. 10, 1966. He married Margaret Adams, Jan. 4, 1974, in Monon, and she died Dec. 27, 1993.
He graduated in 1935 from Wolcott High School.
He was a retired self-employed farmer and carpenter.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Arlene Kopka of Lowell and Cathy Campbell, West Lafayette; two sons, Larry of Montpelier and David of Remington; a stepson, Lavon Brogdon of Kewanna; a brother, LaMoine J. of Oxford; two sisters, Neva McFall of Daytona, Florida and Phyllis Brewster of Hoopeston, Ill.; 14 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and two stepgreat grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday at Kellogg Funeral Home, Monon, with the Rev. William Kehlhofer officiating.
Burial was in Bedford Cemetery, Monon.
Memorials may be given to the United Methodist Church.
