Mary E. Clawson Pinkston, 68, of Lafayette, the sister of local residents, died Friday, February 1, 2002.

She was born July 13, 1933 in Waverly. She married Robert J. Pinkston on May 25, 1949. He died on November 18, 1978.

She was employed as a laser operator at Central Lab for 13 years.

Local survivors include a brother, Robert Clawson of Monticello; and a sister, Betty Jean Hensley of Brookston.

Hippensteel Funeral Home, Lafayette was in charge of arrangements.
