Earl A. Perry, 75, R.2, Delphi, died Thursday, Aug. 9, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette.

He was born Jan. 15, 1915, in Scott County. He was married Feb. 10, 1980, to Ruth Overman, who died Sept. 29, 1983.

He had lived in Carroll County for 10 years.

He was a 1934 graduate of Round Grove High School. He was a custodian for the former Basney Ford Co. in Lafayette, retiring in 1980.

He was a member of the Brookston United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Irene Speer, Delphi; one son, William Earl, Laurinburg, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Two brothers are deceased.

The funeral was Monday at Hartzler Funeral Home in Brookston, with Pastor Jerry Wilson officiating.

Burial was in IOOF Cemetery at Brookston.
