Ralph F. Perkins, 65, Lafayette, formerly of Brookston, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 1999, at Home Hospital, Lafayette.

He was born Feb. 11, 1933, to Sidney  and Lora Perkins, in Howard County. He was marned Oct. 13, 1953, to Marjorie L. Hart, in Burlington, and she died March 6, 1994.

He had lived in Lafayette, for the past several years, moving there from Brookston.

He had worked as an elevator electrician at Purdue, retiring in 1995.

Surviving are five sons, Roger and Robert, both of Lafayette and Ronald, Dennis and Thomas, all of West Lafayette; a brother, Keith of Kokomo; 18 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. .

Two daughters and three grandchildren are deceased.

A graveside service was held Monday at the IOOF Cemetery at Brookston. Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, is in charge of the service.
