Marjorie L. Hart Perkins, 57, West Lafayette, formerly of Brookston, died Sunday afternoon, March 6, in St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center emergency room.

She was born March 26, 1936 in Otterbein to Clarence "Jake" and Gladys Norwood Hart. She married Ralph E. Perkins in Burlington on October 13, 1953 and he survives.

She moved from Brookston to West Lafayette three years ago.

She had been employed for 18 years at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center where she was a supervisor in the housekeeping department until she retired in 1991.

Surviving with her husband are five sons, Roger of Otterbein, Ron and Dennis both of West Lafayette, and Robert and Thomas both of Lafayette; three brothers, Larry of Brookston, Daniel of Burrows, and Lowell, address unknown; and 15 grandchildren.

Twin daughters, three grandchildren and one brother are deceased.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hartzler Funeral Home in Brookston, the Rev. Leland McReynolds officiated.
