Geraldine Mae Allen Peason

Geraldine Mae "Sue" Allen Pearson, 86, of Twin Lakes Village, Monticello and formerly of Monon, died Monday, November 15, 2004 at Twin Lakes Village.

She was born at Moody, on October 10, l9l8 the daughter of Francis and Anna Nairs Wentz.

Her first marriage was to Robert J. Allen on February 13,1934. He died March 9, 1964. Her second marriage was to Joseph A. Pearson on July 22, 1969. He died May 30, 1989.

A homemaker, she had worked as a cook at North White High School for 18 years.

She had lived in the White County area most of her life.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Monon.

She was a Cub Scout Den Mother for several years. She taught Sunday School and Bible School for several years. She had been active in the Monon Ec Club for several years.

She was a loving wife and mother.

Survivors include six daughters, Catherine (Merle) Johns of Monon, Barbara Eisert of Lafayette, Virginia Call of Wabash, Violet (Donald) Hughes of Idaville, Carol (John) Blount of Monon, Joanne Fredel of Logansport; six sons, Russell (Enid) Allen of Killeen, TX, Robert (Arnetta) Allen of Monon, Francis Allen of Monticello, Harley Allen of Anderson, and Mark (Jenny) Allen of Monon.

She had 34 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Two sons, Monty Jay Allen and Danny Lynn Allen, one bother and one sister, three grandchildren and one great grandchild are deceased.

Friends may call at the Kellogg Funeral Home in Monon from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2004 at the Kellogg Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Birch officiating. Burial will be in Monon Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church or Alzheimer's Foundation.
