Edward F. Patrick, 90, Buck Creek, died Monday, Feb. 11, at 2:45 p.m. in Lafayette Healthcare Center. He had lived there since 1985.
Mr Patrick, a farmer most of his life, retired from farming in the Chalmers area in 1965.
He was born Aug. 13, 1900, in Hazel Dell, Ill., and lived in Chalmers before moving to Buck Creek, 13 years ago. He was married June 23, 1920, to Gladys Dunk, who survives.
He was a member of Pyrmont Church of the Brethren.
Surviving with his wife are nine sons, Kennthe E. Patrick, Elmer Patrick, Ralph Patrick, Homer Patrick, R. Evan Patrick and Roy Patrick, all of Lafayette; Donald Patrick, Las Vegas, James Patrick, Mt. Pleasant, Mich. and Roger Patrick, Chalmers; three daughters, Mrs David (Norma) Garriott, Lafayette; Mrs Denver (Mary) Pemberton. Fairmount; and Mrs Eddie (Sharon) Davis, Winchester, Ky., and two sisters, Mrs Clara Brubaker, Modesto, Calif. and Mrs Alma Flora, Brandenton, Fla. Also surviving are 30 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. His parents, William B. and Ida Frantz Patrick, 5 brothers, 5 sisters, 3 grandchildren preceded in death.
Service was today at 10:30 a.m. at Bodine-Brown Funeral Home, Rossville, with Pastor Guy Studebaker officiating.
Interment was at Pyrmont Cemetery.
