Marjorie Loraine Parr, 83, of Brookston died Wednesday, September 15, 2004 in Lafayette Home Hospital.

She was born September 30, 1920 in Kentland, Indiana. She graduated from Brookston High School class of 1938.

Her marriage was to Donald E. Parr on April 17, 1943. He died in 1975.

She owned and operated Parr's Beauty Shop in Brookston for 25 years.

She was a member of the Brookston Federated Church and Psi Iota Xi Sorority.

Surviving are three sons, Robert A. "Bob" Parr of Minneapolis, David L. (Catharine) Parr of Battle Ground and Alan L. (fiance Terrie Boyce) of West Lafayette, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother Raymond and a great-grandchild Jessica.

Funeral service was Saturday, September 18, 2004 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home in Brookston. Burial was in Brookston IOOF Cemetery.
