Ruby C. Pardue

Ruby C. Pardue, 72, of Brookston, died at her residence on Friday, December 17, 2004.

She was born at Francesville on June 28, 1932 to Christian "Chris" and Eva Page Koebcke.

She was a cook in the Francesville and West Central Schools for over 25 years and was retired.

She was a longtime resident of Francesville and a member of the First Christian Church there.

She had lived in Brookston for the past 23 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda (Kerry) Wheeldon of Monon, sons Rodney Pardue and Ryan Pardue, both of Francesville; sisters Janet Robinson of Francesville and Kay Rater of Monon, a long time companion Vernon "Shorty" Deardurff of Brookston and eight grandchildren.

A grandchild and three brothers are deceased.

Funeral services were Tuesday at the Querry-Albrecht Funeral Home in Francesville with the Rev. James Ketchen, officiating.
