James Rollie Pardue, 69, Francesville, died Thursday, June 3, in Pulaski Memorial Hospital Winamac.
He was born July 23, 1923, to Ottis 0. and Kate Roundtree Pardue, in Smith Grove, Kentucky. His mother lives in Monticello.
He lived most of his life in Francesville.
He had been employed as a carpenter, and also delivered the Lafayette Journal and Courier in the Francesville area.
Surviving with his mother are two sons, Rodney and Ryan, both of Francesville; a daughter, Ronda Jones, Monon; three sisters Pauline Sinks, Kentland; Bernice Meiser, Brookston and Leona Rogers, Monon; three brothers, Leroy of Reynolds; Marvin, Shreveport, Louisiana and Richard of Union Mills; and five grandchildren. A grandson is deceased.
The funeral was Saturday in Querry-Ulbricht Funeral Home, Francesville, with Jim Ketchen officiating.
Burial was in Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.
