Orson E. Pacey, 90, of Brookston, and formerly of Chalmers, died Monday, January 9, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. He entered the hospital on December 22, 2005.
He was born near Buckley, Ill., on March 21, 1915.
He was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, where he was a pilot.
He married Mary Holderly in Chalmers on March 10, 1946. She survives.
Other survivors [include] daughters, Elaine (Chuck) Altman, Chalmers, and Bonnie (Jere) Swarr, Manheim, Pa.; brothers Warren (Shirley) Pacey, Paxton, Ill., and John Pacey, Dallas, Texas; one granddaughter and three grandsons.
Two sons, Mark and Carl Pacey are deceased.
Funeral services were at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home, Brookston with Rev. Bill Henderson officiating. Burial was at Chalmers Community Cemetery.
