Regina Overton, 81, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Home Hospital, Lafayette.

She was born March 8, 1918, to Leonard and Cynthia Gertrude Hamilton Widner, in Rensselaer. She was married Sept. 18, 1939, to Jay W. Overton in Monon and he died Oct. 2, 1968.

She was a homemaker. She had been employed at Per-Pak in Brook for 12 years and was retired.

She lived in the Monon community most of her life.

She was a member of the Monon Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Glenda M. Simmons, Monon and Debra J. Bretzinger, Rochester; two sons, Donald J., Lafayette and Larry P. of Francesville; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday at Monon Wesleyan Church with Pastor Mark Deisler officiating.

Burial was in Monon Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Monon Wesleyan Church or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
