Goldie G. Orr, 84, 205 E. Fisher St., Monticello, died Saturday, Oct. 14, at 2:11 p.m. in White Co.
Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness.

She was born Oct. 23, 1910, to Charles A. and Cleveland O. Stephenson Wilson, in Lafayette. She was married April 14, 1930, to Elmer M. Orr, in Fowler, and he died Jan. 9, 1988.

She lived most of her life in White and Benton counties. She and her husband farmed for several years. Since 1983, she lived in Monticello, coming from Chalmers.

She was a member of the Twin Lakes Senior Citizens Center and the Frontier Senior Citizens Club.

Surviving are three daughters, Dorthea Mae Pozorski, Rapid City, S.D.; Flora Alice Graves, Lafayette and Carol Ann Orr, Monticello; a brother, Carl Wilson, Otterbein; a sister, Edna Shumate, Monticello and 10 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A granddaughter, two brothers and two sisters are deceased.

The funeral was Wednesday at Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, with Rev. Michael Brown officiating.

Burial will be in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
