Doris A. (Scott) Oldfield, 78, of Anderson and formerly of White County died Sunday, September 15, 2002, at Community Hospital in Anderson.

She was born in Wolcott on July 29, 1924, to Harvey and Faye Hughes Scott. She married Harold Oldfield in 1930. He died January 6, 1990.

She grew up in the Buffalo area.

After moving to Anderson, she worked at the Guide Lamp Division of General Motors for 30 years and was retired.

She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Anderson.

She was a member of U.A. W. Local 663 of Anderson.

Survivors include daughters, Jan Oldfield of Anderson and Connie (Marshall) McCord of Chesterfield, and a sister Iva Jean (Charles) Halsema of Monticello.

Six brothers, Everett Scott, Raymond Scott, Bob Scott, Clifford Scott, Homer Scott and Glenn Scott, are deceased.

Funeral services were held at the Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, South Chapel in Anderson with Rev. Kenneth King officiating.

Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson.
