Gertrude A. Ohman, 88, Kalamazoo, MI, died Friday, December 6, at Tendercare Nursing Home in Kalamazoo.

She was born August 29, 1906, in White County to Andy and Anna Weise and married Claude F. Ohman on October 12, 1938. He died in 1973.

She lived in Kalamazoo for the last 10 years.

Survivors included two sons, Claude R. "Dick" of Chalmers and Doyle of Kalamazoo, MI; six grandchildren, including Juanita Bathe of Chalmer; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Hilda Landreth of Crawfordsville and Louella Smith of Clarks Hill; and a brother, Elmer S. Weise of Canaan. Two brothers and a granddaughter are deceased.

The funeral was held Monday, December 9, at Mount Gilboa United Methodist Church, Fowler, with the Rev. Karolyn Berkey officiating.
