Leslie W. North, 60, died Friday, May I, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette. He had been ill for one year.

He was born, Feb. 7, 1938 in Lafayette to M. Marvene and Pearl Little North. He was married Aug. 26, 1960, to Myrna A Grassmyer, in Brookston. She survives.

Surviving with the wife are two daughters. Mrs Roger (Shelly) Poindexter of West Lafayette and Stacia Harrell of Norcross, Ga.; a son, Scott L. of Greensboro, N.C.; a sister, Mrs Don (Carol) Grimes of Milten, Fla; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were Monday at Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home with Pastor Henry Vosburgh and Pastor Andy Overly officiating.
