BEULAH IMOGENE MUTCHLER

Beulah Imogene Mutchler, 80, · Linton, Ind., died Monday, Feb. 29, at her home.  She had been in failing health for sometime.

Born Aug. 5, 1907 in Midland, Ind., she was the daughter of William F and Cora Smith Brown. Her marriage was Aug. 5,1931 to Victor Mutchier. He died March 11, 1980.

A retired school teacher, she had taught in Brookston, Brazil, Bicknell, Sullivan school systems. She was a member of the Saron United Church of God in Linton; Saron Women's Guild, 50 year member of the Brookston Mother's Club; Psi Iota Xi Sorority of Brookston; Chi Omega Sorority at Indiana State University; I.S.U. Teachers' Assoc.; she had attended Vincennes University and Ind. State Teachers College.

Survivors include one daughter, Carol Jean Kramer, Linton and one son Gary V. Mutchier, of Houston, Texas. Other survivors include four sisters: Mary Johnson and Leona Steward, Linton; Lois McConnell, Carlisle, IN. and Marjorie Davidson of Tipp City, Ohio; and four grandchildren; Jo Ellen and Kevin Kramer, Linton and Christopher and Bradford Mutchler, Houston, Texas.

One brother and one sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at Welch & Cornett Funeral Chapel in Linton at 1 p.m., Friday with Rev George Perry officiating. Burial will be in FairView Cemetery in Linton.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. prior to the service on Friday.
