Barbara K. "Barb" Murray, 67, of Logansport, formerly of Monticello died Tuesday, October 24, 2000 at her residence. She had lived in Logansport for 10 years, prior to that she lived in the Monticello community.

She was born April 30, 1933 in Logansport to Elbert and Hazel Morgan Hare. She was married on December 6, 1953 to Thomas Paul Murray. He died January 25, 1983.

She graduated from Monticello High School in 1951.

She was a former English and Spanish teacher at Monon and taught Physical education in Wolcott.

She is survived by a daughter Jennifer (Chuck) Chapman of Monticello: sons, Paul K. Murray of Valparaiso and Jeffy T. (Ai) Murray of Logansport; twin sister Virginia Quade of Logansport, and grandchildren Zachary, Jill, and Zebulon Murray and Michelle and Hollie Chapman.

A brother Gordon Hare, is deceased.

Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. this morning at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home in Monticello with Pastor Brent Oliver officiating. Burial will be a Chapel Cemetery, Monon
