James W. Mosby, Sr., 62, of Brookston died Saturday, September 24, 2005 at his residence.

He was born at Mt. Vernon, IN on November 18, 1942, to David and Grace (Draper) Mosby.

He was a U.S. Marine from April 21, 1960 to April 20, 1966, as a Lance Corporal.

Survivors include sons James W. (Rachael) Mosby, Jr. of Brookston and William T. (Nancy) Mosby of West Lafayette; brothers, John Albert Mosby, Mt. Vernon and Robert Mosby of Wolcott; sisters, Aretha Cunningham, West Lafayette, Nellie Clevegener of Mt. Vernon and Davida Segal of West Lafayette; 5 grandchildren.

Sisters Velda Jones and June Grace Mosby are deceased.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home in Delphi. Services to follow at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Guy Studebaker officiating.
