He was born Aug. 26, 1908, to Jesse and Rena Moore Morris, in Morton Township. He was married Oct. 12, 1929, to Ruth Jordan, in Monon, and she survives.
He attended Monon schools. He had lived in Brookston since 1974, moving from Monon.
He was a farmer and retired in 1973.
He was a member of Brookston Federated Church.
Surviving with his wife are a son, Charlie Morris, Monon; three daughters, Mrs Richard (Carolyn) Rogers, Brookston; Mrs Michael (Darlene) Carnahan, Attica and Mrs Curtis (Shirley Ann) Grigsby, Monticello; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A son, two daughters and two sisters are deceased.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, with the Rev. James Copeland officiating.
Burial was in Bedford Cemetery, Monon.
Memorials may be given to Brookston Federated Church.
