Mildred L. Cunningham Morehouse, 75, died Monday, April 2, at 12:25 a.m. in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. She had been hospitalized three weeks.

Five years ago she moved from the Darlington area to Brookston, and made her home with a daughter, Mrs Edward (Judy) Needham, 225 N. Prairie Street.

She was born Dec. 20, 1914, in Bristol, Virginia, and graduated from Newtown High School. She was married March 21, 1934, to Edward Morehouse Sr. in Lafayette. They farmed in Darlington and Lafayette areas. Mr Morehouse died June 4,1985.

Mrs Morehouse was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Crawfordsville.

Other survivors are two sons, Ronald L Morehouse, Lafayette and Edward Morehouse Jr., Crawfordsville; another daughter, Mrs Larry (Marilyn) Sego, Bedford; a sister, Mrs Ed (Renee) Hess, Chapel Hill, N.C.; and a brother, Bill Cunningham, Brownsburg, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral was in Hippensteel Chapel, Wednesday, at 10 a.m. with the Rev Lester Vanest officiating.

Interment was in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
