Harry J. Montag, 90 of Aurora, died Friday, January 28, at Provena McAuley Manor in Aurora.

He was born June 4, 1909, in LaPorte County, Ind., the son of John C. and Anna (Gross) Montag.

He retired after 35 years with Sinclair Oil Co. as a Chemical Engineer.  Mr. Montag began in the Masonic Order at the Bradford Lodge #592, in Monon.  He was a member of the Mercedes Lodge #1010 F&AM and the AL Amin Temple of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Mr. Montag is survived by his daughter, Nancy Ammer of Geneva and his granddaughter, Audra (Michael) l-farrington of Chicago.

He was preceded in death by three wives, Ruth Montag, Thelma Montag,. and Maxine Montag; a brother, William Montag and his son-in-law, Fred Ammer on October 21, 1998.

A Masonic graveside service was held Monday, January 31st at the Bedford Cemetery in Monon.

Arrangements were by the Norris Funeral Home, St. Charles.
