Inez F. Moncel

Inez F. Moncel, 94, of Miller Merry Manor, Mooresville, IN and formerly of Monon died Monday, August 16, 2004, at Miller Merry Manor following a four-month illness.

She was born in Jasper County on November 17, 1909, the daughter of Eugene and Emma Hatch Marchand. She married Francis P. Moncel on March 10, 1931 in Rossville, IN. He died June 28, 1957.

A homemaker, she had lived in the Indianapolis area since 1967, moving there from Monon.

Survivors include a daughter, Joan Spencer of Valparaiso; three sons, Alvin Moncel, Gail Moncel and Gene Moncel all of Indianapolis, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.

One daughter is deceased.

She had three brothers and one sister.

Friends may call at the Kellogg Funeral Home in Monon from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2004. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the Kellogg Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Birch officiating.
