Marie K. Miller

Marie K. Miller, 76, formerly of Buck Creek, died Saturday, June 21, at 5:10 p.m. at Community Hospital, Bremen.

She was born Sept. 16, 1920, to Dewey and Agnes Catherine Ma tin Victor Sr., in Brookston. She was married May 2, 1948, to Chester I. Miller, and he died May 17, 1994.

She worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center for 10 years and was a homemaker. She graduated in 1938 from Brookston High School and from St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing.

She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Reynolds, where shewas a Sunday school teacher for many years. She also was active in PTA and Cub Scouts.

Survivors are a son, Chet Miller, of Bremen; a brother, Don Victor, Fowler; a sister Loretta Pattee, Lafayette and two granddaughters, Kati and Sarah Miller.

A brother, Dewey "Bud" Victor Jr., is deceased.

Funeral services were today (Wednesday) at 10 a.m. in St. James Lutheran Church, Reynolds, with Pastor Stephen Koenig officiating.

Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, was in charge of arrangements.

Interment was in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette.

Memorials may be given to St. James Lutheran Church, Scleroderma Foundation, American Diabetes Association or Parkinson's Foundation.
