Kenneth D. Miller
 

Kenneth D. Miller, 68, Monticello, died at 6:08 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, at White Co. Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health for a short time.

He was born Sept. 23, 1928, to Alfred L. and Essie M. Baker Miller in Benton County. He was married Nov. 8, 1944, to Alberta Sterrett, in Monticello and she sur vives.

He lived in White County most of his life. He retired from Amoco Oil in Brookston and McGill Manufacturing Co. in Monticello.

He and his wife have been wintering in Texas for the last six years.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He was a member of the American Legion Post and Libanus Masonic Lodge No. 154, both in Monticello.

Surviving with his wife and mother are a daughter, Mrs William E. (Connie J.) Maffet, Monticello; a son, Greg D., Delphi; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A brother is deceased.

The funeral was Tuesday at Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home.

A private burial was in Chalmers Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
