Deanna L. Miller

Deanna "Dee" L. Miller, 64, of Brookston died Friday, September 24, 2004, at Home Hospital, Lafayette.

She was born at St. Louis, Mo. on February 24, 1940, to Gordon J. and Dorothy (Brown) Hankinson. She married David E. Miller at Delphi on July 29, 1960. He survives.

She was a graduate of Vincennes Lincoln High School in Vincennes.

She had worked in the cafeteria at Delphi Community High School and Arni's in Lafayette.

She enjoyed reading, traveling and bird watching.

Other survivors includes son Timothy (Sharon) Bilskie of Coden, Ala.: daughters, Angie (Jim) Henning of Panama City Beach, Fla; father Gordon Hankinson of Los Angeles, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Helen Bilskie of Glasgow, Scotland; step-sons, David (Linda) Miller of Monticello and Rocky Miller of West Point; stepdaughter, Mindi (Terry) Balser of West Point; sister, Linda (David) Marrs-Miller of Monticello; one nephew, 16 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Son, James Bilskie and brother Stephen Hankinson are deceased.

Funeral services were Monday at Davidson Funeral Home in Delphi with Pastor Bruce Hurley and family friend Jim Hamilton officiating.

Burial was in Tippecanoe Memory Garden in West Lafayette.
