Lola Miles, 75, of Lafayette, IN died April 20, 2000 in South Street Health Care Center in Lafayette. She had been at thc Health Care Center since January 1999.

She was born September 21, 1924 in Independence, IN the daughter of Leroy and Margaret Fay Points.

She attended Minneapolis, MN, schools and had worked as a package line operator for Green Giant in Lafayette tbr 15 years.

She had lived in Lafayette most of her life.

She was a member of DAV and Teamsters Union. She served in WWII as a WAC in Florida. She had received a Meritorious Award while in the service.

She is survived by a grandson, Tyson Huber of Monticello and a granddaughter Heather "Huber" Brown of Columbus, Ohio, and a Great granddaughter, Mary Brown.

Services were at Hahn Funeral Home on Monday with Rev. Charles Fluckey officiating with burial at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette.
