Miss Sarah Patricia "Pat" McDonald

Miss Sarah Patricia "Pat" McDonald, 69, of Monon died Saturday, October 12, 2002 in White County Memorial Hospital following a 2 1/2 year battle with cancer.

She was born December 1, 1932 in Monon, the daughter of Byron G. and Sarah Ball McDonald.

She was a 1950 graduate of Monon High School and received her BS Degree in Kansas City, Mo. She had lived in the community most of her life.

She was a member of the Monon United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, Choir member, and Bell Choir director for several years.

She was a social worker and Director of Grace United Methodist Church Lafayette, Indiana Day Care Center for several years and worked as a Social Worker for Area IV Council on Aging for several years.

She was a member of the Monon American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Modern Homemakers Club of Monon.

She was a member of Sweet Adelines singing group for several years.

She was active in the Monon Community and an avid gardener.

Survivors are two sisters, Dorothy Wood, Monon and Loretta Kollias, Marathon, Florida.

Three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

There will be no visitation.

There was a direct cremation and Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Kellogg Funeral Home is in charge.

Memorials may be made to the Monon United Methodist Church.
